I ran to the ge and attempted to buy a couple hundred

  • Of course, I know RuneScape gold that a few ofy'all might not be considering sporting one. Additionally, Andrew does not have any idea I have signed him up for this. Again, I am just testing the waters out. This is more of a"what is the deal for this; are they any good?" Kind of thread, I suppose. I need to have coordinated this more before submitting it. Oh well! I am not sure whether this belongs in queries or not, but it's meant to spark a discussion so I'll place it here. Since the coming of the GE and before then, shops have been around for the most part redundant.

Some shops are useful: especially those that sell strange enough things they never wind up on the GE, or the ones that sell expensive goods in bulk cheaply, like feathers or runes. Also of use are stores that sell particular or untradeable things, such as Thessalia's clothing store, Xuan's shop, or Faruq's tools for matches. However, the vast majority of stores for every day gielinorians are unused and unuseful. Nobody will sell jewels to the gem trader or jewellery to the jewellery owner nowadays, or visit taverly to buy a mithril 2h sword.

In your opinion, what upgrades can be made to enhance the usefulness of stores? How will your proposal boost their effectiveness, and what do you think of different hints on this thread? To provide an illustration proposal, I believe clothing stores would work well if they worked like Thessalia's, so that all no-stat clothing could be part of somebody's standard clothing. This would increase visits to those shops because default garments are admired and appreciated by most, while clothes on top get in the way of armour or even more important things. Tas here, your friendly here-once, then gone-again RSOF lurker. Anyways! I wanted to let you guys know about the way that I just got scammed, and how you should all avoid it. No one I've talked to has heard about this before, however I keyed it together in my mind, and just be sure that you don't fall for it yourselves. Be skeptical of users offering exorbitant prices for specifically high quantities of crap. Will buy for 10k each!" The above happened to me, at ge.

Obviously, thinking waa-aay quicker than I must have, I ran to the ge and attempted to buy a couple hundred more. They did not buy. And didn't purchase some more. Before I knew it, I'd cranked up the cost to the 2k, 3k, 4k stove - only to get the purchase, so I could find that stupidly large gain offered by this user ("10k ea! Need 300 pickaxes!") I wound up spending a few mill on 100 or 200 pickaxes, which mysteriously bought in that specific amount. As soon as I hurried back to the consumer in the ge, he logged. See what happened? He made/bought his very own buy OSRS gold pickaxes, then made a"Sell" offer to get a ridiculously higher price that nobody (save, maybe, for desperate lvl 1 cluers?) Would buy for - then made a public statement on his desperation for needing pickaxes in a HIGHER PRICE THAN HE SOLD FOR.
